Open Doors Baptist Church (ODBC)

is currently in the process of appointing a new Pastor.
In the interim, the church is being faithfully led by a dedicated team of Deacons and Deaconesses (the Trustees). Please see the Trustees page for more details.

This leadership team, together with our ministry leaders and church family, is committed to stewarding the vision of Open Doors. With prayerful guidance, they continue to ensure that the mission and values of our church flourish during this transitional season.

Chime Egembah

Church Secretary

As the Church Secretary, I am responsible for handling all the administrative tasks of the church, including managing correspondence, scheduling, record-keeping, and preparing bulletins or newsletters. I also support the pastor and church leaders with communication to members and often maintain financial and confidential records. This role requires me to be highly organized, discreet, and communicate clearly.

Angela Egembah

Women’s Ministry Leader

I organize and guide programs that support the spiritual growth, fellowship, and outreach of the women in our church. I encourage active involvement and work to foster a supportive and nurturing community.

Emmanuel Oyetunji

Church Treasurer/Men’s Fellowship

I manage the church’s finances, including budgeting, tracking income and expenses, handling donations, and preparing financial reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

Adebola Fayoun

Children’s Sunday School

I teach and guide children in biblical lessons during Sunday services. I create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where kids can learn about faith, develop spiritually, and build positive relationships. I also plan activities, manage classroom behaviour, and communicate with parents to support the children’s growth in the church.

Lesley Joseph

Evangelism

I coordinate and lead efforts to share our church’s message with the community. I organize outreach events, train and motivate members to witness and invite others, and develop strategies to grow the church’s impact. My role focuses on spreading the gospel and encouraging active participation in evangelistic activities.

Ruth Oyetunji

Social Affairs

I organize and oversee social events and activities that build community and foster fellowship among members. I plan celebrations, support charitable initiatives, coordinate hospitality efforts, and help create a welcoming environment that strengthens relationships within the church and the wider community.

Kevin Ghann

Music Leader

I oversee both the church’s music ministry and media operations. I lead worship through music, coordinate rehearsals and musicians, and manage audio-visual equipment, sound systems, and media presentations during services and events. My goal is to enhance worship and communication through both music and technology, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for the congregation.

Barbara Okiji

Welcome Team Leader

I coordinate and lead the team responsible for greeting and assisting church attendees. I ensure visitors and members feel warmly welcomed, help with directions or information, and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere that encourages fellowship and connection within our church community.

Jones-Akwasi-Owusu

Prayer Ministry Leader

I organize and lead the church’s prayer efforts, encouraging members to pray regularly for the church, community, and individual needs. I coordinate prayer meetings, support prayer chains, and foster a culture of spiritual support and intercession within our congregation.
