JOIN US EVERY SUNDAY:
Each Sunday sermon is designed to offer meaningful biblical teaching that speaks to both the heart and mind.
Centered on Scripture, the message typically begins with a passage from the Bible and then explores its context, meaning, and relevance to our everyday lives. The goal is not only to understand God’s Word intellectually but also to experience its truth in a personal and transformative way.
The sermon often speaks into the real-life challenges we face whether it's stress, relationships, doubt, or purpose. Expect a message that brings encouragement, spiritual insight, and practical steps for living out your faith during the week. Sermons are often part of a series that builds week by week, helping the congregation grow in specific areas of Christian life and discipleship.
Along with teaching, the sermon is meant to foster a deeper connection with God and the church community. Whether you're new to church or have been attending for years, the message is designed to meet you where you are. It may challenge you to grow, comfort you in a time of need, or simply remind you that you are not alone on your spiritual journey.
In addition to the sermon itself, the worship service may include music, prayer, Scripture reading, and moments of reflection that prepare your heart to hear God’s voice. Altogether, the Sunday experience is meant to help you refocus, find peace, and walk away with renewed strength for the week ahead.

Sermon Topic Extracts from ODBC
God's Greater Grace: James 4:1-10
“God’s Greater Grace,” explores James 4:1–10, a passage that speaks directly to the inner battles we face desires, pride, and conflict. James challenges us to recognize how easily we can become divided in our loyalty, yet reminds us that God offers grace even when we fall short.
Challenging Tradition: Mark 4:35 -6:6
In Mark 4:35–6:6, Jesus challenges not only nature and evil but also the limitations of tradition and familiarity. Even as He performs miracles, He is met with resistance, especially in His hometown. This message invites us to consider how our own assumptions or traditions might limit what we believe God can do and encourages us to trust Him beyond the boundaries of what’s comfortable or expected.
New Relationships: Mark10:1-31
In “New Relationships,” we explore how Jesus redefines relationships in light of the kingdom of God. In Mark 10:1–31, He addresses topics like marriage, divorce, children, and wealth not to reinforce cultural norms, but to call His followers into deeper commitment, humility, and trust. Jesus challenges the crowd (and us) to value relationships not by status or personal gain, but by faithfulness, vulnerability, and childlike dependence on God. This passage reminds us that entering God's kingdom often means letting go of what we think we deserve and embracing a new way of relating with God, with others, and with ourselves.
Blindness & Sight: Mark 10:32-52
In “Blindness & Sight,” Jesus contrasts the spiritual blindness of His disciples with the clear, faith-filled vision of Bartimaeus, a blind beggar. While the disciples struggle to understand Jesus’ mission, Bartimaeus sees Him for who He truly is and boldly asks for healing. This passage challenges us to examine what kind of vision we have one shaped by pride, or by faith.
An End to Question: Mark 12:28-44
In “An End to Questions,” Jesus silences His critics with wisdom and redirects the conversation to what truly matters loving God and others fully. In Mark 12:28–44, we see a shift from debate to devotion, as Jesus commends a poor widow who gives all she has. Her quiet act of faith stands in contrast to the showy religion around her, reminding us that God values sincere love and sacrificial trust over status or performance.
Who is in Who is Out: Joshua 9:1-27
In “Who Is In, Who Is Out,” we reflect on the surprising story of the Gibeonites in Joshua 9:1–27. The message invites us to consider how God's purposes often extend beyond our boundaries and how His grace can reach even the most unexpected people.
